This week, Bigeye officially achieved ISO 27001 certification, a significant milestone in our journey to deliver top-tier data observability solutions.

What is ISO 27001?

ISO 27001 is an internationally recognized standard for information security management. This certification sets out the criteria for a comprehensive information security management system (ISMS), which includes all the policies, procedures, and controls involved in an organization’s data risk management processes. The goal of ISO 27001 is to protect data in all forms and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information.

To earn this certification, companies must undergo a comprehensive audit conducted by an independent certification body to verify that they meet the rigorous standards set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This process ensures that companies not only implement but also maintain robust information security practices.

Why is This Important?

Achieving ISO 27001 certification demonstrates our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of information security. This is especially crucial for our clients in large-scale enterprises with strict compliance requirements.

Security threats are constantly evolving, and organizations need to ensure their data is protected against these risks. The ISO 27001 certification provides a clear framework for implementing and managing information security, giving our clients confidence that their data is in safe hands.

What Our Leaders Are Saying

"Achieving ISO 27001 certification is a huge milestone for us in our mission to deliver data observability to the enterprise," said Kyle Kirwan, CEO of Bigeye. "The security and privacy of our customer’s data has always been a top priority for us, but nothing beats having outside verification of the lengths we go to, especially as intense as ISO27001."

Joan Pepin, Chief Information Security Officer of Bigeye said, "Obtaining the ISO 27001 certification marks a pivotal moment for Bigeye. The ISO 27001 certification is the globally respected gold standard for information security practices and demonstrates Bigeye's firm commitment to our customers that we take data security very seriously and meet the standards that will allow us to become a seamless part of their workflow."

What This Means for You

This certification means you can have even greater confidence in our ability to keep your data safe. The thorough audit process evaluated every aspect of our information security management system (ISMS), including data management, infrastructure, development, and support processes.
